THE CONFIDENCE OF FAITH – act of believing in yourself; win the battle before you fight (2)

When thoughts such as, “What am I doing this for?”, “Is it really worth it?”, “Why, why, why?” set in;  it shows that there’s a war going on inside your head. And you may not even be aware of it. Before you conquer the external world, you have to master the inner world of your mind. You’re not perfect;  accept  it. Never beat yourself up for making mistakes. This is life; It’s unpredictable. Sometimes it makes no sense; shit happens. Yet, there’s still enough beauty in life.

Know yourself; from time to time, expose yourself to painful memories, and think about your “darker” side. Explore that side of yourself that fears, doubts, criticizes, hurt, and struggles. Observe yourself and learn from the pain and experience; learn what scares you, so you can recognize it when it appears. Tap into your pain cave and begin to explore the “darkness”; whether it helps or not depends on how you respond to what you find; what you’re going through, what you’re feeling, why the struggle is difficult, what you’re going to do to overcome it. This simple act of shining a light on what affects us mentally and emotionally is vital in helping us develop a winner’s mindset. When you’re able to isolate and highlight the things that threaten you, you’re better able to analyze and target ways to overcome them. You can dismiss some thoughts as unfitting of your time and move on. Some of our biggest worries or concerns seem very trivial when we open them up to the light.

Word and opposite in ENGLISH, Action and Reaction in PHYSICS, North and South Pole in GEOGRAPHY, Right and Wrong in MORALITY, Left and Right in ANATOMY, Positive and Negative in MATHEMATICS, up and down in GRAVITY, like and unlike poles in a MAGNET. Heaven and Earth, Male and Female, Sowing and Reaping etc. There’s a silent message from the “2-pair” concept; the challenge or problem you are facing right now has a solution; an exact opposite. All you need to do is take bold steps, find out what you need to do, be disciplined and consistent in your found application. If you’re to succeed in your course, then you must have faith in your course; believe it is possible and believe you can do it.

Imagine you had a game on your phone or computer, no matter how many times game over shows on the screen; there is always time to start all over and play it again and again. The only time the game is truly over is when you believe you can’t win no matter how many times you play it; then you either give up saying the game is too hard or you even uninstall it from your phone. But as long as you still believe you can win; the more you seem to fail, the more you play again to win. The concept in the subconscious is more like “Learn to lose a battle to win the war”. You can gamify your life too. Make struggles a game. You are a player within life’s game. See the obstacles; face them and overcome them.[ Defeat is a state of the mind. No one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality – Bruce Lee]. When you struggle long enough with anxious thoughts and fears, you come to a fork in the road. If you sit there and wait all the time, life begins to consume you. You either do something about it, or you become complacent. Remember this — action is always better than inaction. Keep getting up no matter how badly you fall; quickly recover and come back stronger. When life happens, adapt and shift your approach. The difference between a warrior and a worrier is that the former uses the telescope of faith to enhance his vision(hope) while the latter uses the blindfold of fear to block his vision(hope). Have a warrior mindset; fight and win, conceive and achieve.  [The battles that count aren’t the ones for gold medals. The struggles within yourself, the invisible, inevitable battles inside all of us, that’s where it’s at. - Jesse Owens]. Never blame yourself. That’s not what a warrior does. Instead, fight your inner enemy by not giving up.

The right direction is a straight line to where your solution lies. Faith is like a compass you got in a forest, you need to use it not to get lost. Your hope is your vision but faith is the telescope that makes you see your endpoint before you start the journey. Without faith, you may give up feeling you’re hoping for the impossible. Fear is a blindfold that covers your vision(hope). With fear, the waves of life easily change your direction as it pleases; all you do is flow with the tide. But with faith (the telescope), you are sure what you hope for is possible. You’ve seen the answers already, you’ve gotten there already through your vision, all that’s left is to take the necessary steps to be physically there. You don’t just flow with the tide but swim your way through. So visualize the future; see what isn’t visible, envision what is to come from what is. Use the telescope of faith (your mind’s eye). If you can see tomorrow, then you can survive today. Just because you know it’s possible and you’ve envisioned it, seal that happy victory in your mind and let it be the fuel behind your actions.
